Rivers united defender Ebube Duru has stated that the Nigeria Professional Football League side won’t relent on the 1-0 advantage gotten over Tanzanian side Young Africans after a spirited display in the first leg of the Preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
Duru speaking in a chat with www.brila.net stressed that the win was massive for the Porthacourt based side after a ploy by the host country to favour the home team with about five Rivers players adjudged to have tested positive for Covid-19 two hours to kickoff.
He added that the team will consolidate on the result gotten yesterday ahead of next week’s second leg clash when they host the Tanzanian side.
