Why I want to contest in PDP congress, by Yeye Shobajo

Yeye Adenike Shobajo has made has declared her intention to participate in the forthcoming Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) congress. 

She announced her decision while speaking with TRUSTAFRICANEWS last week. According to her, she is desirous of contesting the position zoned to Lagos from the national headquarter.

She believes she will bring her wealth of experience to the congress if elected. Hear her: “I’ve served through the ranks, from Ward to Local Government to State as Member of Captain Shelle-led Exco as well as immediate past Member of the South West Zonal Exco representing Lagos. I’ve also been in several National Committees and Conventions as an Member.”

Speaking further she said “Over and above all, I will play the role of a BRIDGE BUILDER to bring cohesion and sense of belonging to ALL MEMBERS through team work, recognizition, and huge participation of all within our party.

I’ve attained high pedestals in the Private Sector and in the PR Profession. I will bring this to bear in positioning PDP to mobilise non-partisan Members, and intellectuals of the Society to register, and vote PDP at all levels come 2023, she added.
