Kolawole Oyeneyin, an accomplished entrepreneur, investor, and leader, sits at the crossroads of investments, technology, economic development, public policy, and people. As a Partner and co-founder at Volition Cap, an African-focused private equity company, and the Founder & Chairman of Venia Group, a venture creation and investment company, Oyeneyin’s impact in the business world is profound. He also co-leads Opportunik Global Fund, a Cayman/Mauritius managed fund for retail investors.
Driven by his faith, Oyeneyin has significantly influenced human capital development through advanced mentoring and high-impact networks. Oyeneyin holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, where he was honored with the Eric Yankah Award for his distinguished contribution to the Mason program and Harvard Kennedy School. He is an Edward Mason and Gleitsman Fellow and a Fellow of the Harvard Center for Public Leadership. Additionally, he earned a degree in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham, UK.
In 2020, Oyeneyin was recognized by MIPAD, a UN-backed organization, as one of the “Most Influential People of African Descent.” He is also a 2022 Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow of the African Leadership Institute.
