CCC Arch Diocese Agidingbi Cathedral Prepares for the upcoming Juvenile Harvest slated to take place on June 2nd, 2024 as Otitoloju Ayo of Trust News Africa Speaks with a few Sunday school teachers in readiness for the event.
“Lizzy Tobi Ogun, Okay so we are cordially inviting you to our Harvest 2024 2nd of June, There is a reward for you to serve God, There is a reward for you to contribute, and there is a reward for you to be your brother’s keeper, this year harvest comes with a lot of funfair package for the children and we implore you to all come and celebrate with us.
Well the only thing the elders should expect from the youths is to tutelage our leadership
“I have this uncle who taught me that as parents our kids copy what we do. We should always teach our children how to do the right thing, and the right lifestyle and what we should do is live a decent life that will be worthy of emulation”
There would be bouncing castles; there would also be cocktails, plenty of food and drinks, bible Quiz Competition, drama and choreography. We have myriads of talents in the church and nurturing it is what we should be our top priority.
Everybody knows times are hard and money is hard to come by and I know that God will rewards everyone according to their contributions to the work of God. God does not cheat, and the Bible says we should pay our tithes and there is a reward for everything.
How has the economy affect the harvest income and budget
We have to streamline our expenses, especially now that prices of things are on the high side, We have to reduce some things.
So, what’s your advice for the children
The children should live a Christ-like life, that’s why we have roles models and mentors, the children and youths should imbibe what is good from us.
“Adegoke Segun for the fourth coming Juvenile Harvest our children are ready and they have been going through a lot of rehearsals. There would be lot of activities for this year Juvenile Harvest. And it would also be very spiritual.
When it comes to performance in their various classes, they’re outstanding, so we have given them all they would be presenting on that day.

What is your name, and how is the preparation for the upcoming juvenile harvest?
Oluwatobi Afolayan, As the Sunday school teacher, we’re currently ensuring that the children have the best of time for this year’s harvest.
I can see your performance in the Sunday school and I know you have some grade of the children, What is your plan for them?
It is a collective effort, I cannot say I’m the only one planning for them, it’s a collective efforts from all the Sunday school teachers, who come together to teach them and groom them as it will be fulfilled.
This year how many children are you expecting from other parish.
Since it’s a general thing worldwide, We are expecting all well wishers that are willing to celebrate and partake in the harvest
We all know there are some financial constraints as regarding the state of the nation at large, but notwithstanding, we’re trusting God, since it’s an harvest we do yearly so we believe God will take Control, no matter the limitations
