The Shepherd in Charge of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Central Parish, Iju Road, Ifako 1 Lagos, A/Sup/Evang Wale Sutton has told his members to always give to the poor around them.
The pastor gave the charge during last week’s Sunday service at the church at Iju Road, Ifako Lagos.
According to Shepherd Sutton, he said “people are going through tough times. families can’t eat three square meals any longer. people are going through a lot.”
“I want to appeal to everybody here, if you have enough food at home, please give those around you that don’t have. Little sacrifice can go a long way”. He quoted some bible scriptures to drive home his point.
Speaking further, he said any members that do such by helping the nonprivileged in the society, will be given back thousands fold.
The Shepherd emphasizes that in his own belief, no one gives out and lacks.
