The Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Ayomide Parish 2, has celebrated the 2022 Juvenile harvest with a message to parents to put in more efforts towards the upbringing of their children.
The Juvenile celebration was fun-filled and held to a loud applause with the youths displaying their skills and dexterity in the various activities done.
Tracing the history of the day, Balogun Gbolahan, the parish youth coordinator said, ‘’It’s an annual program celebrated by all Celestial churches worldwide. I think some years ago, in Celestial church, it started as a children’s fun fair and later they changed it to a harvest programme for children, where we make them happy.
‘’It is celebrated once in a year by all churches, in a way that you won’t have to go to other people’s churches to celebrate harvest with them as far as you’re celebrating it in your own church. Now we celebrate it on the first Sunday in June’’, he stated.
He urged parents to please help them in order to help them back. ‘’To train the children in the way of the Lord, because once the foundation is destroyed, there’s nothing much the righteous like us can do. So, we need them to help us’’, he added.
Celestial Church Ayomide Parish celebrates Juvenile Harvest Ayomide parish 2 has three parishes under the administration of his eminence Prophet Richard Dele Morounfolu, a prophet, a shepherd and an ambassador of Christ.
He said their first parish is at Abúlé iroko, Ogun state, Parish two is at Rinsala, while the third parish is at Unit 1, Baker’s spot, Danginam, UK.
