The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged fellow Christians to obey God totally to gain His favours.
Pastor Adeboye said this during this month’s Holy Ghost service, with the theme: In Partnership with Fire.
The programme, which held at the church’s headquarters on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, attracted thousands of Christians from far and wide. Mnay others also watched it live on the church’s cable television station, Dove TV.
He said: “You must obey Him totally. Once you decide to partner with Him, there must be no looking back.
“Partners are a select group of people. They are specially selected by God. Not everyone can become His partner hose who become partners with God are those who:
“Walk righteously and fear God. Honour God. If you want to be God’s partner, you must be willing to be a fool for His sake. The people God will choose are those who are willing to let go of their brilliance and be fools for God’s sake.”
Prophesying the goodness of God unto the worshippers, Pastor Adeboye said:”The Lord asked me to tell a woman: ‘The doctors have just told you that you can’t have a child. Nine months from now, you will show them your baby.
“The Lord says to tell someone, as Moses is unique among His prophets, so will you be unique among His ministers.
“In the name above every other name, multiple doors will open unto you. Whatever crisis may be in your family, will be over tonight in Jesus name.
“In the Name above every other name, your miracle will not miss your address.
“Tonight, I decree in the Name of Jesus that all your problems will be consumed by fire.
“I pray for you in the Name of Jesus that God will open your ears.
“How to Partner with God.”
Delivering a sermon on the theme of the programme, he said: “Fire is involved in preparing whoever will be God’s partner.
“When fire comes in contact with anything, it changes that thing to itself. Whatever refuses to be changed to itself becomes ashes.
“You cannot become a partner of God unless you’re thoroughly born again.
“If you haven’t given your life to Jesus or would like to rededicate your life, ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.”
